Mercy House
Supply Drives: Hygiene Kit, Sack Lunches, Move-in Gifts, or a Backpack Drive
Organize a Social Gathering: Bring food and activities to interact with our residents and help to improve their social skills. (Ex. Holiday Party, BBQ, Movie Night, or Breakfast).
Property maintenance, Shelter cleaning & Landscaping: Painting, Gardening, and construction type work are needed on an as needed basis.
Holiday Adoption Program: Allow those at Mercy House to experience the excitement of the holiday season by giving Christmas gifts from their wish lists.
Life Skills Educators: Life Skills Facilitators are needed to teach resident’s skills that will help make them self-sufficient. (Ex. CPR, Self defense, Nutrition, Parenting, Stress management, Conflict resolution, Credit repair, Budgeting, Emotional Management (Coping Skills), Job Searching, etc.)
Play hour with children from newborn-10 yrs. old: Tues. & Thurs. from 6:45-8:15pm
Cold Weather Armory Program: Serve meals, put out mats, and much more to provide for the homeless in Fullerton and Santa Ana. (Open during the cold winter months only).

Orange County Rescue Mission
Volunteer as a food preparer or server, clerical assistant, grounds keeper, electrical worker, adult tutor, child development center helper, or participate in a food drive. Orientations are held every month. Register on the website.

The Santa Ana Project Outreach needs volunteers to set-up, sort and pack groceries, clothing, shoes, household items, and assist in the distribution of the items. Times vary but are usually from 8:00AM- 3:00PM on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month (be sure to check their website for specifics dates).

Up And Running Again
