 Discussion Questions

  1. Why would a believer need to hear the gospel over and over?
  2. Do you ever think about the gospel during your normal week? How might it affect your life if you did? What specific thoughts would you aim to have? (Think through some situations, i.e. I just failed a test/bombed a presentation at work/woke up feeling depressed and don’t want to get out of bed/lost a family member, what specific gospel centered thoughts can help me process this rightly?)
  3. What do you think of when you hear or read “God”? (Aim to come up with as complete a picture of God as you can directly from scripture.)
  4. What do you think of when you hear or read “God the Father” (Aim to come up with as complete a picture of God the Father as you can directly from scripture.)
  5. What do you think of when you hear or read “Jesus” (Aim to come up with as complete a picture of Jesus as you can directly from scripture.)
  6. Is there a “right” emotional response to the gospel? Do you think it is important to respond a certain way to the truths of scripture? What is the appropriate response to the gospel? How can we train our heart to respond properly?
